If you missed the last Rollin’ and Scratchin’ you missed the best party of your life. Sleeping Kings got the crowd warmed up professionally. Check them out, very versatile (not to mention really really nice). Though, their myspace doesn’t represent how great their music really is (only two tracks). I may have to rip some tracks off their compact. They guided me perfectly through the post show hangover.

Just got back from our small energy drink tour with Chili P. Amp energy drink sponsored our party in kingston and though we missed our own after party, we were lucky enough to have piles of amp energy drink to come back to. It was like, one of those parties where there’s just empty cans around, but they weren’t empty, and they were energy drinks. We had about 300 people show up to the club that night and got massive noise complaints from the hotel across the street. The next night we hit up the Smiling Buddha with Smitty Cent’s home brewed Electro Fusion party. Though the crowd was slow to show, we ended up with a tight collection of humans. Thanks to everyone who came out… Here’s a vid from the buddha show (apologies for quality).

Fans of this site, i want to make something clear… We’re not turning this place into a shameless self promotional piece of internet clutter. But since we do spend a lot of time making music, i feel we are obligated to let you know when some cool shit is going down. We always try and give a taste of what we’re listening too and shouting out to other artists. Cause we’re nice guys.

We’re heading to kingston (canada) next thursday for whats turning out to be a pretty large show with our good friend DJ CHILI P. We’re seriously very very really excited to dance and play some new material. Next thursday as in the 20th of march, as in the first day of spring!

And we’ve also been slotted for The Pitter Patter Musical Festival. We’ve been thrown on a bill with some amazing talent. Check it: Bocce, Sleeping Kings of Iona, and Beth In Battle Mode. You can see that mess go down on March, 28th, at Teranga (bar across from the boat in kensington market).

An old friend of mine may be bringing his band up from hamilton for this show, still waiting.We’re also playing in Kingston at the Joy Supper club on march 20th and blasting the faces off the Rollin’ and Scratchin’ crowd on April 4th. We have new material for those shows that we’re pretty excited about. so I guess this is what happens when I make art drunk. I’m new here, I am that guy below with the hair–rufplast and jeffrey have given me some rights here so I am going to see if I can’t rip it up a bit. Over a bottle of wine and a cheap mickey of rye I make this post for you. I picked up Digitalism and the Boys Noize discs the other day, as I am very happy when physical copies of intangible blog music show up at my local joint. ANNOUNCEMENT: We have a new TMDP‘r… Cameron. You can see him in the top picture killing everybody in the Universe with his hair, just to the right of Jeffrey (Mummy I’d Like to Fuck) on Halloween. I was a very sexy Leopard 10.5. Very really sexy really.

Wasn’t Justice fun? NOES. Midnight Juggernauts played a great opening set. Justice’s stage was packed to the ceiling with Marshall cabinets like a Kiss show or something. But at least Kiss spit blood and like… move their bodies. Points to Justice Live = Negative One Million, super-amplified by disappointment.

So tonight is our first time visiting Circa and actually hopefully being allowed to enter. And as luck may have it, its also our first time seeing Justice live.
I’ve been tossing it around in my head and im at odds when justice and the word live are thrown together. As most people “and their mothers” know, Justice are two dudes, and the only thing i’ve seen them do live, thanks to jimmy kimmel, is play a stereo. The Jimmy Kimmel stunt was nice, but please Justice, do something interesting tonight.
